AhlulBayt News Agency: The Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out a missile strike targeting Ben Gurion Airport using a hypersonic ballistic missile, according to a statement issued Tuesday night. The operation is the latest in a series of retaliatory attacks against Israel during the ongoing conflict.
According to Mehr, the missile—identified as a "Palestine 2" hypersonic ballistic weapon—was reportedly launched deep into Israeli-held territory and successfully disrupted airport operations, forcing large numbers of civilians to take shelter.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesman for Yemen’s Armed Forces, also announced that three unmanned aerial vehicles targeted additional Israeli positions in Yaffa, Ashkelon, and Eilat. He stressed that the attacks were aimed at supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza and would persist until Israel ends its military campaign and lifts the siege on the enclave.
Saree reiterated Yemen’s unwavering stance, stating that the people of Yemen consider it their moral duty to stand by Palestinians and will not cease their support.
In conjunction with the aerial operations, Yemen has enforced a maritime blockade aimed at obstructing the flow of military supplies to Israel. This strategic move, officials say, is also intended to prompt international action regarding the deepening humanitarian crisis in Gaza, as Israel's military campaign intensifies.
